David graduated WV School of Osteopathic Medicine, and residency at Camden Clark before his Diabetes Intensive Training through the Mayo Clinic. He then earned the Board Certification in Advanced Diabetes Management. He is very active promoting diabetes education to providers, residents, students and the general public. He is also the author of The Book on Diabetes.
Dana completed her MSN at Wheeling Jesuit University and the Diabetes Intensive Training through the Mayo Clinic. She is Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management. She has dedicated her life to improving the lives of diabetic patients. She was, and continues to be very involved in education.
April spent 13 years as an LPN before earning her RN at Rio Grande University. She is currently working on her Certified Diabetes Educator Certificate. She has worked with patients to find optimum treatment regimens at the greatest value. She also provides invaluable education and information to our patients.
Dariene graduated Marietta High School before completing her Medical Assistant Certification at the Washington County Career Center Adult Technical Program in 2014. She has years of experience in the diabetes field with Dr. Pickering and Dana Cruse ensuring quality patient care.
Maggy went to Parkersburg South and Mountain State College to earn her CCMA in 2018. She also has experience with Dr Pickering and Dana Cruse treating diabetes. She will be the first face you see at the reception area.
A full staff will include Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Management Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants who are familiar with current Standards of Care according to the American Diabetes Association. This group will work seamlessly with Dr. Pickering and you to provide the best diabetes management regimen in a cost effective manner.
